MAXPONG Filter Bag
MAXPONG Filter Bags combine a polypropylene needle-punched fabric bag with an internal melt-blown polypropylene filter cartridge insert. This composite construction provides depth filtration, high contaminant-holding capacity and improved retention of trace oils that may be present in process fluids.
The welded seam construction helps eliminate unfiltered liquid bypass through the bag seams. The seamless microfiber insert provides an additional filtration layer for trace-oil removal, while the fully welded connection around the polypropylene collar supports reliable sealing and bypass-free filtration.
MAXPONG is the standard polypropylene version. MAXPONG-XL uses polypropylene extended-life needle-punched fabric for applications requiring extended service life. Both models are supplied in Size #02 with a 182 mm diameter, 820 mm length and a listed flow rate of 40 m³/h. The maximum service temperature is 80°C, and the suggested bag change-out differential pressure is 0.8–1.5 bar.
The filter bags are available in nominal retention ratings from 0.2 to 100 μm. The data sheet states that filtration efficiency is between 50% and 95%, depending on the selected micron rating. Actual performance depends on the liquid, contaminant load, flow rate, pressure, temperature and filter housing configuration.
MAXPONG Filter Bags are especially suited to automotive coating applications. Silicone-free, polybutene-free and food-grade-compliant configurations are indicated in the supplied data sheet. The applicable food-grade certification and the suitability of the selected configuration should be confirmed for each process.
