Nomex, meta aramid fiber, also known as aramid was characteristic is good heat resistance, high strength. It at a temperature of 250 DEG C, material properties can for a long time to maintain stable. NOMEX needle punched felt cloth is a kind of resistance to high temperature filter material and insulation material, has good physical and chemical properties, almost does not burn.
(1) excellent temperature resistance: can operate at 204 degrees Celsius for continuous operation (instant temperature 240 degrees C), and can withstand repeated fluctuations of 240 degrees Celsius temperature.
(2) dimensional stability: the heat shrinkage rate of only less than 240 at the temperature of 1% degrees Celsius, with excellent high temperature stability.
(3) fire at 400 DEG C to decomposition and carbonization, the limiting oxygen index (LOI) of 30, will not burn or combustion.
(4) good chemical resistance: low concentrations of acid and alkali and most hydrocarbons have no effect on it, even if a small amount of fluoride does not significantly erode it.
